Hi I'm so sorry for replying your tag late so please forgive me yeah.
First up, is your family really that terrible? Is your family really the worst of the worst in this world? If you really think so, I feel that you should think again. We all know the common phrase: " Blood is thicker than water", right? Maybe for you, you think that it is just some cliched phrase that insolent people preach about but seriously, things may not be all that bad.
You said that you're always the one giving in to him but "today" you could not take it anymore. Actually many siblings experience the same thing that you experienced. It's not perfectly normal but siblings share a special bond. The bigger tend to feel the need to bully the smaller I think. But if you look at it in a different way, maybe all he wants is your attention. He shouted at you, that is wrong and disrespectful but maybe he was all worked up. Trust me, you brother loves you. I used to hate my brother a lot but once we grew up, we learnt to accept each other and live harmoniously.
Having a sibling is a blessing. A younger sibling especially can be of much joy to you as of a chocolate sundae is to a young toddler. He may be bigger and taller than you but apart from all that differences, you two are bonded together by blood. No matter how many fights you two have gone through, it's the blood bond that counts. He has his wrongdoings but he will learn. Now, as his elder sibling, try and bear with him. Don't hit or swear at him. Your mother will take care of the disciplining.
For now, just treasure the fact that you have a family. There are others out there who are without families and I can assure you, their lives are much more terrible than yours. Families are sacred okay?
Not sure if I helped but yeah..
Love, Pointe
